Vila is the capital of the Republic of Vanuatu. It is located at 18 deg South, and 168 deg East. Vila is about 3 hour flight from Sydney 2 hours flight from Fiji (Nadi).

Vila is located on the central part of Vanuatu on the Island of Efate. Although Vanuatu boasts alot of beautiful places, Vila stands out as the best as it has all that one would see in one of the big cities world wide. Vila boasts, the best Shopping, best foods covering a wide range, one of the best Telecom Systems in the Pacific, and boasts a high multicultural society owing to being under French and English rule in the past. Vanuatu is known for having good Kava and Vila boasts the highest number of Kava Bars. There is no anticipation of having to find somewhere to stay in Vila, this little town has a lot of quality hotels, guest houses, camping grounds etc.. Just click on hotels on the left to see them. Bananas, pawpaws and root crops growing wild on the roadside (recently I noticed a pumpkin plant to the left lower side :-). Well that part of the place has been razed clean and a new shop in it's place ... duh.
